Professional Development

Do you crave professional/personal development? Keeping our grey matter stimulated and engaged is important to help us become the best version of ourselves.

Despite being in an industry that offers change on a regular basis in terms of the injuries you see and individuals you meet, you might still feel the need to progress and learn new skills. Cue, Care Expert work!

Let’s break it down to understand how this benefits you and improves your professional development. Initially, you will go through some bespoke classroom training with Jenny, our Expert Manager. Then you will be buddied up with a mentor on a 1-to-1 basis who will guide you through your first few cases. That right there is a lot of industry experience in just two people. What you learn from them is invaluable.

We actively encourage our Experts to share ideas, discuss issues and provide solutions on our online portal. This is just another fantastic tool that you can use and learn from. And what better way to learn than from a whole group of people who have ‘been there and done that’?

With ongoing training, you will continue to learn and develop new skills in a new sector. We want to encourage our Experts to remain the best in the business, so we provide training in areas such as courtroom training. Our Experts regularly comment on how this has given them more confidence, improved their reports and honed their analytical ability.

Care Expert work requires you to go that little bit further and produce more detailed reports than your day-to-day role. Our reports can cover the next 30, 40, or 50 years of someone’s life so that will certainly get that grey matter working!

Let’s not forget our report team, they are there to check spelling and grammar so you may even learn a thing or two there.

The great thing about all of these benefits and added development is that it can then be transferred back into your day-to-role, making you a stronger all-round clinician. That’s a great opportunity for personal development!
